To all my friends

Just a quick reminder that the PARANOID website is up. It is not completely ready yet, but it has the most important information on it that you would want to know: what we play, and where we play. Check it out at www.paranoidtribute.com , and see you at the shows.

Zoltan

Hi Everyone

Again, it took a long time for the update, but it is not easy to keep up with everything all the time. Of course, the shows date section is always updated. The website also experienced a few difficulties too, which had to be taken care of, so if there’s anyone out there who tried to get in contact, and did not receive a reply, I regret it, and please send us a message again, because it might have been lost. It is technology, and its not perfect. There are a few things going on. Zoltan has a new drummer Mike Rosato (Wild Mick Roze), who joined the band a little while ago. Mike is a longtime local drummer, and has a reputation for excellence. He is a great addition to the band, and we wish Brian our departed drummer good luck, because we had a great time playing with him. He is not only an awesome drummer, but he is a great guy too. Thanks Brian.

The CD is selling relatively well considering we have no financial backing, label support, and media support is nonexistent. This is not the kind of music the media ever embraced, and they will only jump on the bandwagon when its already made successful by the people, its just the way it is, and its not going to change, so your support is key.

I would like to thank every one of you who already have the ‘Ready to Fire ‘ CD for your continuous support, and feedback. The good news is that the price of the CD is being lowered to $7.99 inside the US, and $9.99 around the world, and this low price, also includes shipping, and handling too. The reason we can do this because the initial cost of the CD is just about recouped, and we are not paying anyone to promote it since we simply cannot afford it.

Most people who come to our shows already know that Zoltan took on another identity about a year and half ago. Because the area we live in is not a great supporter of original music (even though most people claim to be), we made the decision to become a tribute band on the side to secure paying gigs for ourselves. As you have already noticed on the show dates section, we are also Paranoid, the ‘Crazy ass tribute to Black Sabbath, and Ozzy’. Sometimes we open the show for ourselves as Zoltan, and sometimes we just throw in a few originals, and people really appreciate that, after we proved our playing ability to them, or there are times when people just come right out and ask for originals after they hear the quality of our playing. That's how we sell the CD’s at the shows.

Another news item is that Zoltan is being featured on a compilation CD called ’10 of New England’s Finest Breaking Through’. This CD has been in the works for quite some time, and it looks like finally will be out by the middle of August 2004. There is some great music on the CD, and some of the musicians/bands have been our friends for a long time. The song that was contributed by Zoltan is called ‘Fuck the World’, and I am a 100% sure that you will like the song for its great musical content, and positive message. The price of the CD will be the same as the ‘Ready to Fire’ CD’s new price through the website, and $5.00 at our shows. The website for the compilation is www.10nefbt.com. We would like to thank Tom Schappert, Chuck Rubano, Martin O’Brien, all the bands, and everyone involved for their hard work on the CD.

In May 2004, Zoltan donated 30 copies of the ‘Ready to Fire’ CD to our troops in Iraq. I hope whoever gets it will enjoy it, and if anyone happens to look at the website from over there, (without any political commentary or opinion on my part - which could fill at least a 300 page book), I want to wish you guys the best of luck, thank you for your service, and hope you will return safely to your families. Another interesting bit might be that the title song ‘Ready to Fire’ is about a fighter jet pilot.

Until later
Zoltan

Hi there

THE BAND: It's been a while since the last update to the site, but it's not because not much was going on, but in fact exactly the opposite, there were too many things going on. Here are the updates: The group's lineup is finalized Zoltan on guitars, and lead vocals, longtime CT bass player Jeffrey Raymond on bass, and backup vocals, and the young and explosive Brian Celella on drums, and backup vocals. The band kicks ass, it has tons of power, excitement, and precision. We are looking forward bringing you some real rock.

SHOWS: We have our first scheduled gig on 3/30/02 at The Place in Torrington, CT with Weapon-X. Look under the upcoming shows section for details, more dates, and places as they come in.

STORES: We are welcoming 2 new stores where you can buy Zoltan CD's: Red Rocket Records at 531 Main St Indian Orchard, MA 01151 Tel: 413-543-0080, and Platterpus Records at RT.20, Little River Plaza Westfield, MA 01085 Tel: 413-562-0883.

TV: The band is scheduled to tape a hour-long TV show on 2/24/02 for the Bands on the Road program. It will feature live performances, and interviews as well. We want to thank Bill Morse, the producer of the show, for the opportunity. Check out the site at www.bandsontheroad.tv, and we will be updating you when the show will be on the air.

REVIEWS: The independent reviews are coming back, and are very good. Check them out. One guy who admitted that the CD is on par with some of the greatest names in rock was worrying about how we can sell the music, because it did not sound like Limp Biscuit, and others. The only thing we can say is to get your head out of your ass, and let us do what we do. We appreciate all kinds of music, but on the other hand we are not here to follow trends, we just want to rock our way, and there are more than enough people out there who want to hear exactly what we do.

RADIO: On 2/14/02 a bunch of North Eastern radio stations started to play some of our songs as part of 'The Studio' syndicated program produced by Mojo Music Studios. Thanks guys. Check out the list of stations where the program is aired on www.mojomusicstudio.com there are too many stations to mention, but they have the list on their website. Also, we would like to ask everyone to call, or E-mail your favorite radio station, to request your favorite track from the Zoltan- Ready to Fire CD. This is the only way we're going to get the necessary airplay so crucial to our success. So if you like the music please take a moment, and help us out. Thank you in advance.
